Jackie was born in London and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She grew up within the entertainment industry with both of her parents being television producers. Her father, Andrew Brooke, was the CEO of Grundy Television (now Fremantle Media) for over 12 years. She was school captain at Mosman Public School and then Performing Arts Prefect at Queenwood School for Girls where she graduated on the State Honor Roll. She was also a high level athlete across multiple sports arenas.
In Austalia she trained with NIDA, Australian Theatre for Young People, and the Australian Institute for Performing Arts. From the age of 16 she travelled back and forth to Los Angeles to pursue training. Whilst there she met and trained with industry professionals such as (but not limited to) Matthew Barry (The Notebook), Joseph Middleton (Paramount Pictures), Christian Kaplan (20th Century Fox), Gary Zuckerbrod (Without a Trace), Marnia Saitta (Days of Our Lives), Lisa Beach and Sarah Katzman (Girl Interrupted), Alex Newman (Glee), Jane Jenkins (Harry Potter) and Steve Hytner (Kenny Bania on Seinfeld).
During these tours she also was trained within institutions such as the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Second City and the Atlantic Theatre Company.
In 2017 Jackie auditioned and was accepted to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated as one of their most successful and celebrated actors. Jackie has now been granted her Green Card and permanent residency within the United States of America. She continues to train with Matthew Barry at Matthew Barry Teaches and The Actor's Instrument that she assisted in establishing.
Besides acting, Jackie is passionate about animals and animal welfare. She continues to love team sports, group fitness and dance and also enjoys other creative actives like piano and painting.
